KIWI FEST is Australia’s only festival dedicated to New Zealand Music,Arts, Culture and Cuisine.
After a tough 12 months, we’re preparing for some major events for 2021 to put some much needed aroha into Melbourne’s Kiwi community and provide opportunities for New Zealand artists, performers, businesses and brands based here or back home.
We are currently on the hunt for Aotearoa’s finest spinners and selectors. Swinging into 2021, Kiwi Fest will be curating a series of mix tapes from NZ’s best DJ talent from both sides of the Tasman.
- “Boil Up Mix Tapes” will run from late March, with regular mixes until our first 2021 event in July.
- Mixes are to be 45-90 mins long.
- The brief is broad: feel free to showcase a local scene or NZ music makers, or rep agood ol’ Kiwi house party vibe.
- All tapes will be accompanied by a short interview and press shot for socials.
