Plains FM 96.9 broadcasts programmes made by, for and about the people of Canterbury. Our concerns, successes, interests, views and ideas.
Governed by the Canterbury Communications Trust and part-funded by NZ On AIR we provide media facilities and training to groups, organisations, agencies and individuals at low cost.
Our programme makers have won many NZ Radio Awards and span a range of backgrounds, ethnicities, ages and interests. Over 80 programmes in 18 languages are currently on air.
We also stream live and programmes are available on demand as podcasts at www.plainsfm.org.nz
