I am a passionate 18-year-old professional guitarist from Hamilton, New Zealand. I started playing guitar at the age of 8 and I am mostly self-taught. I joined the Hamilton Blues Society at the age of 11 and I am still the youngest member in the Club. My favourite genres are Blues, Rock, Reggae, and Funk. I perform as a solo artist (acoustic and electric looping) and on electric guitar in Blues, Rock, and Funk cover bands. I'm also the Lead Guitarist for an Originals Blues Band - The Dirty Tones - Auckland Based. My biggest achievement to date was winning four gold medals and an Overall World Champion Award at WCOPA (World Championships of Performing Arts) in Los Angeles in 2023.

Sean Lurman is a very humble young man who has been performing in public since he was 11.
Sean is fortunate to have a huge amount of support from family, his amazing girlfriend CC Stenson, friends and fellow musicians who encourage his passion. He has managed to balance education and growth alongside his extremely busy schedule.
As a guitarist Sean has been told by many musicians that he has a truly genuine ‘feel’ when he plays, with technique that surpasses his years.
Sean has also been blessed to share the stage with some top artists such as Steve Arvey, Elles Bailey and many more. He has also rubbed shoulders with music royalty such as Don Felder, Taj Mahal, Tommy Emmanuel and Janie Hendrix.
